As noted, a rare English edition of this Los Angeles Japanese newspaper established in 1903. It offers typical newspaper fare, albeit with a focus on the LA Japanese community.
Despite the newspaper having a [presumed] robust subscriber base, at the time of cataloguing, we see no other issues on the market, none recorded by RBH, and with OCLC recording just one holding institution of the serial.
