Shows Virginia City, American City, Gold Hill, Silver City, the Line of the Sutro Tunnel, the mouth of the tunnel, and more. The mapmaker, Charles F. Hoffman was a distinguished topographer. He was a member of the California Geological Survey and later with the King Survey along the 40th meridian. ... References: Nevada, Library of Congress, 1964 (Paher 2040). Paher, #1927 for pamphlet, but does not call for map, which may not have been issued with all copies.
