San Francisco: Watkins, 427 Montgomery Street, (n. d.). Ca post-1875 [1878 / 1879 ?]. Verso blank. Two mounted separate square albumen photographs of the scene. Caption printed under right photograph. Oblong format: 3-7/16" x 7". Rounded corners. Now housed in an archival mylar sleeve. Mount curled, and lacking two lower corners [slightly affecting text to right side]. PO tape reinforcement to lower edge verso. Fair - Good; Images clear & sharp, VG+. Item #52084
Watkins begain issuing his "New Series" in 1875, with a relocation of his studio to 427 Montgomery in 1878/79.
