First produced 2/15/27 in Washington DC., where reports note that the production enjoyed quite a bit of success, eventually making its way to NYC (where it ran for 72 performances).
Here we offer a program announcing its April debut in New York City, though we speculate the opening was, in fact, in September, evidently delayed from what this Shubert Majestic advertising leaflet/program publicized.
