Some adverts with cuts. 7-3/8" x 5-1/8". Black cloth spine over buff paper boards, printed in black, green & red. Pale yellow advert eps. Slight lean. Modest wear & soiling to boards & spine cloth. The first volume of the series was [apparently] issued in 1871. Not in Rocq, though see 11987 & 16753 for similar such publications by Bishop. Not in Quebedeaux. At the time of cataloguing, OCLC records 6 holding institutions [with divers editions], with RBH showing no copies at auction these past 3+ decades.
