Original violet-red muslin quarter cloth over buff paper-wrapped boards with printed paper title label to spine, noting "Tales and Sketches. Vol. I." Slightly cocked. Spine a bit sunned. Label worn & chipped. Usual light foxing. Prior owner signature ["Sarah Bethel"] to t.p. top margin. Withal, a solid Very Good copy. Item #14174.3
