[17] - 523, [5 (blank)] pp. 34 illustrations from original designs by John McLenan 12mo. 7-1/2" x 5" Original publisher's black cloth binding with gilt stamping to spine & blindstamped publisher device to boards [professionally refurbished]. Pale yellow eps. Square & tight. Spine gilt dull. Period calligraphic signature to ffep [dated February 23, 1862]. Usual bit of browning & foxing to text paper. A solid VG copy. Item #5279.2
