U.S.A. 373 pp. Frontis & 6 internal illustrations. Per a preliminary note, "In this edition the plates are in four printings: one in bistre, one Japanese etching paper, remarquè; one on papier de Chine, mounted on plate paper; one on India paper, impressed upon Japanese vellum; and one on Dutch handmade paper, in colors. For each copy of the Edition Magnifique there is prepared a duplicate set of impressions of the plates on Whatman drawing-paper, finished in water-colors." 8vo. 8-1/2" x 5-1/2". Full brown morocco binding, AEG. Small armorial device gilt stamped to upper left of front board. Purple moire silk eps, with the paste-downs having a grey leather onlay border around a woven silk image of a woman. The fore-edge painting appears to duplicate this image.
