Image shows a gathering of mothers at the Visiting Nurse Service building, described thusly "A unique programme in public health work is being conducted by the Henry Street Settlement Visiting Nurse Service at its Tremont centre -- 2021 Arthur Avenue, Bronx. Babies are brought to the clinic where they are weighed and examined, the mothers are given advice as to their diet and shown how to prevent the babies from becoming ill. An average of 30 to 60 babies atten[d] the clinic with their mothers every Monday morni[ng]."
