The first publication of Wagner's groundbreaking bibliography was seriously flawed, containing numerous errors and on being apprised of this circumstance, Wagner "immediately stopped the sale", with this 2nd issue in replacement.

This copy from the library of noted San Francisco bookseller William P. Wreden, with his bookplate, which sold in 1990, at Swann's Auction of Wreden's library, as lot 516, then fetching low two figures despite the damping evidenced in the book.
