Child's advert continues at bottom: "Don't forget the number. Letter-types, for Mailing, Only 25 Cents."
Regretably, we find nothing on-line which can tell us more about Mr Childs, which is to say, he's another individual obscurbed by the passage of 150 some-odd years.
