[Santa Cruz ?]: (n. d.). Ca 1879 - 1880 [per a prior owner lightly penciled annotation]. Single sheet, lined paper, printed recto only. A two-stanza poem, of 4 lines per stanza, written therein. Wood engraving [3-7/8" x 6-7/8"] of Santa Cruz harbor in top half, with printed caption underneath. 10" x 7-7/8". Now housed in an archival mylar sleeve. Age-toning to paper. Faint fold-lines. Old tape reinforcement to verso right edge [5/8" in width]. Overall, a Very Good example of this rare survivor. Item #48309

Santa Cruz a rare subject for California lettersheets, e.g., checking the indicies of both the Baird & Clifford catalogues show no entries for this Central California muncipality, incorporated as a town in 1866.
