Original publisher's reddish brown printed paper covers. Custom red cloth chemise in deep maroon quarter leather slipcase with red cloth sides. While square & tight, with little extremity wear, the front wrapper is nearly detached. Prior bookseller penciled pricing to top of the first page. Bookplate of George Barr McCutcheon [cf. Lot 92, his 1926 sale]. With a nod to the front wrapper, Very Good. The attractive slipcase shows modest extremity wear, VG+. Item #46978
