(San Francisco). 1971. 1st Printing. Printed bifolium, 3 slips. Couple small illustrations. 10-3/4" x 7-2/4". Pink card stock wrappers, printed in black. One slip blue and black lettering printed on white paper. Two slips typed in black lettering to tissue paper. All now housed in a mylar sleeve. A NF copy. Item #46892
One slip is a typed in a "handwritten script" to resemble a letter. Addressed to a "Doctor" saying how good Ernie's restaurant was and they they should go visit! Also saying that the food was such high quality that they did not even need the Festal medication. We learn that this is a anti-heartburn style medication as on the verso of this slip is the description and dosage for the medication. Overall a VERY clever advertisement!
The other two slip are the recipes for the dishes that were referenced in the "letter". The Dover Sole and the Crepes Ambrosia.
