Jackson, Cal. Bank of Amador County and the State of California. 1913 - 1929. Twelve loose leaves. Affidavits: 7" x 8-1/4"; Eight Checks: Approx: 3-1/4" x 8-1/2"; One Check: 2-3/4" x 6-1/2". Affidavits are white paper, with black lettering. Eight of the checks are issued by Moore Mining Company, black lettering printed on light brown paper. One check is white paper with black lettering. All now housed in a mylar sleeve. All are VG copies. The affidavits are unused but with some chipping to the edges and corners and some age toning. The checks are filled out in black writing, and stamped by the bank (for deposit), some age toning to edges, overall clean and bright. Item #46571

At one point there were over 900 mines in Amador County. Checks are issued by Moore Mining Company, mostly dated 1929 (one 1913 and one 1928).
