A psychadelic Stanley Mouse poster depicting Jerry Garcia (1942 - 1995) dressed as Uncle Sam, astride his '39 Harley Davidson casually gripping a can of beer. Behind him are two flags, a '76 U. S. bicentennial flag and a 1890 U. S. flag. The poster is captioned in three parts at tail-edge. This poster is likely a protest to the demolition of the Straight Theater where the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin and many other famous bands from the 1960s played shows. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of many, the theater was demolished in 1979.
