A couple extracts with mss captions, and publication information. The piece evidently compiled by a decendant. The letterhead with a cut of a cable car; two extracts with half-tone photographic images. Letterhead: 10-1/4" x 8-1/2". Overall: 11" x 13-7/8". Age-toning to mounting stock. Item #44593
Letterhead attests to Hart's employment with the Market Street Railway Co. "from March 1879 to February 1888, during which time he has fulled, to the entire satisfaction of the Company, the positions of Driver, Conductor, Watchman, and Switchman."
According to Hart's obituary, "He was in San Francisco at the time of the building of the first cable-car railroad and operated the first car that ran over the line."
