Vol 2, No 72 the final issue of this base newspaper, in other words, herein a complete run of this serial, which gives a view at the war from the perspective of a state-side hospital.
Volume includes other related correspondence, including the editor's final letter "To the Editors of all Hospital Papers"... wherein he speaks of the newsaper & its history, noting that, in addition to 'hard' news, it added "a little bit of humor to the life of those who read it. It has had a wide subscription, it being sent to nearly every Hospital in the Army and to Institutions of Education, and to Museums, for their files, in the work of making history."
Despite the 'wide circulation' at the time, today we find no records [OCLC & Union List of Serials, 3rd Ed] documenting any institutional holdings of this serial.
Rare, a possibly unique collection.
