With TLs laid-in, to James Hart [Bancroft Librarian] from Melbert Cary [Press of the Wooly Whale letterhead] dated December 10, 1931, in which, amongst other bookish things, Cary talks of their $50 editon of Dickens' 'Christmas Carol' - " ... the text is worth it, even though the book may not be." Cary continues, "... I shall have the pleasure of sending you a little Christmas book upon which we have been working since last summer, Molly Make-Believe. ... It is a book essentially made to be read."
