All typographical oddities noted by Smith present except (1) no space in said, p. 102 & (2) no battered '1' in p. 166 pagination [noted by Smith in only some copies]. Frontis & vignette title leaf. 15 internal illustrations. Artists: Tenniel (6), Leech (5), Stone (3) & Stanfield (3) Small 8vo. 6-11/16" x 4-3/16". Publisher's original red, vertically-ribbed cloth with gilt stamped spine & front board. AEG. Gilt bright. Modest wear & soiling, very slight lean. A hint of age-toning to paper. Withal, a quite pleasing VG+ copy. Item #11540.6
